How do we know the importance of public worship?

Public worship is vital because it is where God's people receive mercy and strengthen one another in faith.

Public worship stands as a vital pillar of the Christian faith, as it is within these gatherings that individuals encounter God's grace and mercy. The Bible indicates that God often meets His people during their worship time, fulfilling the promise of His presence (Matthew 18:20). Additionally, the local church acts as a family of believers, where comfort, support, and encouragement are exchanged among members. Failing to participate in public worship not only diminishes personal spiritual growth, but it may also indicate a deeper issue of faith and commitment to Christ.
