How do we know the importance of worshiping in stillness?

Answered in 1 source

Worship in stillness is crucial because it allows believers to focus on God’s presence and listen to His voice.

The act of being still before the Lord is a vital aspect of worship that allows for a deeper connection with Him. In Psalm 46:10, we are commanded, 'Be still, and know that I am God.' This stillness creates a space for reflection, admiration, and revelation of God's nature. The contrast between Mary and Martha highlights this importance; while activity can be good, being still in God’s presence offers eternal value. True worship is birthed out of a heart compelled to seek God above mere activity.
