How do we know the judgment is true?

Answered in 1 source

The certainty of judgment is affirmed through Scripture and the conscience of mankind.

The truth of the Day of Judgment is established by God’s revelation in Scripture, asserting that all people will be judged for their actions. Romans 2:16 states, 'In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.' Additionally, the presence of conscience plays a role as a witness to divine judgment; Romans 2:15 indicates that the conscience either accuses or excuses a person, suggesting an innate understanding of moral accountability that points to the reality of judgment. Thus, we have both divine revelation and human conscience testifying to the truth of a forthcoming judgment.
