How do we know the kingdom of God is within us?

Answered in 4 sources

The kingdom of God is within us as it is governed by Christ's lordship and can only be perceived through spiritual revelation.

In Luke 17:20-21, Jesus clarifies to the Pharisees that the kingdom of God does not come with visible signs but is recognized by spiritual insight. The phrase 'within you' or 'among you' suggests that wherever Christ reigns, the kingdom exists. For those spiritually blind, this king and his kingdom remain unseen unless God grants the ability to perceive the spiritual realities. This illustrates the necessity of being born again to enter and recognize the kingdom of God, reinforcing the idea that it transcends earthly observations.
