How do we know the law is written in our hearts?

Answered in 2 sources

The evidence of God's law written in our hearts is seen in our changed desires and actions that align with His principles.

The writing of God’s laws on our hearts results in a new nature for the believer, aligned with God's desires and principles. This is more than just an intellectual acknowledgment of right and wrong; it encompasses a transformation of the heart that naturally gravitates towards righteousness and love. As believers, we experience an inner drive to live out God's commandments, which manifests as affection for God’s truth, a desire for holiness, and an impulse to act mercifully towards others. This inner conviction, empowered by the Holy Spirit, affirms that the law of God is indeed shaping our actions and attitudes.
