How do we know the law of Christ is true?

The truth of the law of Christ can be established through its grounding in the teachings of the New Testament. As Matthew 22:37-40 indicates, the essence of the law is to love God and neighbor. This encapsulates the law of Christ perfectly, as it promotes a spirit of humility, restoration, and selflessness among believers. Additionally, the law of Christ is validated through our spiritual experiences as believers, as we are given a new nature by the Holy Spirit that inclines us towards fulfilling His commands. As noted in Romans 8, this new nature leads us to a desire for righteousness and love, confirming the truth and validity of the law of Christ in our lives.
