How do we know the law of God is valuable?

In Psalm 119:72, the psalmist affirms, "The law of thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver." This statement encapsulates the belief that spiritual wealth surpasses material riches. The pursuit of God's word and His truth provides eternal benefit and satisfaction that far exceeds any earthly treasure. While David had access to great wealth, he recognized that the knowledge and understanding of God's law were of paramount importance, providing guidance, wisdom, and true contentment in life.
