How do we know the love of God is real?

Answered in 3 sources

We know God's love is real through Jesus Christ, who endured the cross for us and continually intercedes for us.

The reality of God's love is primarily demonstrated in the sacrificial act of His Son, Jesus Christ, who endured the cross for our salvation. Romans 5:8 states, 'But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' This profound act encapsulates the essence of divine love—self-sacrifice for the benefit of the undeserving. Furthermore, the ongoing work of Christ as our intercessor assures us of His continual support and love, reminding us that we can face any trial because He is for us.
