How do we know the message of preaching is true?

Answered in 1 source

The truth of preaching lies in its origin from God and the revelation of Christ as the only way to salvation.

The authenticity of preaching is grounded in its source—the message comes from God, as seen in Exodus 3 where God speaks through the burning bush. Moreover, a true witness is one who has encountered God's holiness and understands the gravity of sin and salvation. Only through a personal experience of God's grace can one relay the truth of the Gospel. Thus, the message must align with the Scriptures and consistently point to Christ as the only path to salvation.
