How do we know the New Testament is superior to the Old Testament?

Answered in 1 source

The New Testament reveals a greater glory through the Spirit, as it brings life, while the Old Testament, represented by the law, brings death (2 Corinthians 3:6).

Paul contrasts the glory of the Old Testament with the glory of the New Testament, noting that the Old Testament, or the ministration of death, had its own glory but was transient. He explains that the New Testament is a ministration of righteousness, which far exceeds in glory. While the law reveals sin and ultimately leads to death, the Gospel of Christ provides life and righteousness through faith. Thus, the New Covenant brings hope and sustenance that the Old Covenant could not deliver.
