How do we know the power of unbelief is real?

Answered in 1 source

The power of unbelief is evidenced by its ability to hinder God’s work, leading to spiritual blindness and condemnation.

Scripture reveals that unbelief not only stands as a barrier to experiencing God's blessings but also magnifies the insignificance of the truth (Matthew 13:57). The Lord Jesus' rejection in Nazareth, despite clear evidence of His divine power, illustrates this point vividly (Matthew 13:58). Their refusal to believe did not decrease His power but demonstrated their hardened hearts. Such belief in false notions can cause people to miss the glory of God and the blessings intended for them, as illustrated in Isaiah 48:16-19 and John 11:40.
