How do we know the righteousness of God?

Answered in 1 source

The righteousness of God is revealed through Jesus Christ, who is our only source of righteousness.

Paul explains in Romans 10:3 that many are ignorant of God's righteousness and attempt to establish their own, but true righteousness comes only from Christ. The perfect righteousness that God requires is found solely in Jesus. He fulfilled the law and became the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins, providing us with His righteousness in exchange for our sinfulness. This fundamental truth highlights the need for divine revelation to understand that one cannot claim any righteousness apart from Christ's perfect work (Philippians 3:9). Thus, our acceptance before God hinges solely on what Christ has accomplished.
