How do we know the sacrifice of Christ is suitable?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrifice is suitable because He was without sin, fulfilling the standards set by God for an acceptable offering.

The suitability of Christ's sacrifice is confirmed by His sinlessness. In Leviticus 22:21, God establishes that sacrifices must be free from defect or blemish. Jesus, being without sin, met this divine standard perfectly. He was not subject to the inherited sinfulness that all other humans carry. Not only was He the Lamb of God chosen as a sacrifice, but He also served as the High Priest who offered that sacrifice. This dual role fulfilled the requirements for acceptance before God, as He perfectly embodied the righteous attributes needed to atone for sin, fulfilling God's demand for holiness and purity.
