How do we know the sinfulness of humanity is true?

The absolute sinfulness of humanity is affirmed by various passages of Scripture, which declare that none are righteous and all have turned aside (Romans 3:10-12). The fallen condition of man is universal and underscores the necessity of grace and redemption through Jesus Christ. This truth reveals the deep-rooted human tendency to establish personal righteousness relative to others, thereby ignoring the holiness of God. Until one recognizes this true nature, they will not abandon self-righteousness and seek the righteousness provided by Christ alone, which is the only means of salvation.
