The testimony of God is true because it is revealed to us by the Holy Spirit through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

We know the testimony of God is true due to the revelation given to us by the Holy Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 2:10-12, it states that God reveals to the spiritual man the truths which are freely given by Him. This testimony is centered on the person of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. The same Holy Spirit that enables belief in the spiritual man also confirms the truth of God's testimony, making it evident in the hearts of believers, and is without error.
