How do we know the true God?

Answered in 2 sources

The true God is known only through His self-revelation, primarily through Scripture and the person of Jesus Christ.

The Scriptures affirm that God reveals Himself to His people rather than requiring human input to manifest His nature. This self-revelation is found in the person and work of Jesus Christ, who is the full embodiment of God's nature and purpose. As stated in John 10, Jesus explains that His sheep hear His voice because they belong to Him, underscoring the idea that the true God imparts knowledge of Himself directly into the hearts of His people. Therefore, understanding God is not obtained through human reasoning or external traditions, but rather through a spiritual revelation from the Holy Spirit that aligns with biblical truth.
