How do we know the truth of election is true?

God's election is a foundational doctrine in Reformed theology. Scripture teaches that 'God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth' (2 Thessalonians 2:13). This verse, along with others, stresses that salvation is not a result of human decision but is rooted in God's sovereign initiative.
