How do we know the work of Christ is effective?

Answered in 1 source

We know the work of Christ is effective because He will not fail in His mission to redeem those given to Him by the Father.

The effectiveness of Christ's work is assured by His divine nature and the certainty of God's promises. As stated in Isaiah 53:10, 'the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.' This verse signifies that God's purposes will be accomplished through the suffering of His servant. The work of redemption is thus guaranteed, because the servant will not only bear the sins of many but will see a multitude justified through His sacrifice, leading to final victory over sin and death. Christ's ongoing intercession for His people at the right hand of the Father further confirms that His work is both complete and continually effective.
