How do we know the work of Jesus is sufficient for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The sufficiency of Jesus' work is affirmed by His resurrection, demonstrating God's acceptance of His sacrifice.

We know the work of Jesus is sufficient for salvation because His resurrection serves as God's powerful declaration of that sufficiency. According to Romans 4:25, His resurrection was a necessity to establish our justification. If Jesus had not been raised, we could not be assured that His sacrifice was acceptable to God. The resurrection confirms that the debt for sin has been fully paid and that believers can have confidence in their redemption. Additionally, Hebrews 9:12 affirms that Christ entered the holy place having obtained eternal redemption for us, showcasing the totality and completeness of His redemptive work. Through this, believers can rest assured that their sins are forgiven and they stand justified before God.
