How do we know the world hates Christians?

Answered in 1 source

The world hates Christians because they stand in opposition to its values and proclaim a message of sin and divine sovereignty.

According to John 15:18-19, Jesus clearly teaches that the world will hate His followers because they have been chosen out of the world. The very existence of Christians serves as a condemnation to the world, which does not want to acknowledge its own inability and sinfulness. The message of sovereign grace, which asserts that salvation is solely dependent on God's mercy, challenges people’s pride and self-righteousness, leading to resentment and hostility against believers. This deep-seated hatred is akin to the ancient opposition faced by figures like Noah, whose faith and warning condemned the wickedness around him.
