How do we know true believers are regenerated?

Answered in 1 source

True believers demonstrate regeneration through a sincere heart for prayer and a continual seeking of God's wisdom.

The sermon details that one of the core evidences of regeneration is a believer's inclination to pray and seek God earnestly. In verse 3 of Proverbs 2, it states that a true believer 'cries after knowledge' and lifts their voice for understanding. This illustrates that genuine faith is accompanied by an unyielding desire to connect with God in prayer, seeking His will and guidance. A regenerated heart cannot help but engage with the Father in this way, continually asking, seeking, and knocking for His truth and wisdom, as highlighted in Luke 11.
