How do we know we are all debtors to God?

The Bible teaches in Romans 3:23 that 'all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' This establishes the fundamental truth of our spiritual condition; we are all debtors before God due to our sin. In Luke 7:41-47, the parable of the debtors illustrates that irrespective of the amount owed, every transgression demonstrates our ultimate inability to repay God. It is crucial to acknowledge our indebtedness as this realization leads us to embrace the grace of God in Christ, who forgives those who come to Him acknowledging their need for salvation.
