How do we know we are born again?

Being born again is marked by a profound transformation that shifts one’s perspective on sin and righteousness. Once a person is spiritually awakened, they begin to recognize their condition as a sinner and their need for Christ’s redemptive work. This is illustrated in the conversion experience described in John 3:6, where Jesus tells Nicodemus that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
