How do we know we are in the body of Christ?

Answered in 1 source

We can know we are in the body of Christ through our faith in Him and our willingness to share in the sufferings of the gospel.

The assurance of being in the body of Christ is closely tied to our faith and acceptance of His saving work. 2 Timothy 1:8-9 encourages believers to partake in the afflictions of the gospel, indicating that genuine faith often results in sharing in both the glory and suffering associated with Christ. Rejoicing in the gospel message and being unashamed of it is evidence that a believer is truly part of the body. The essence of being in Christ lies in our identification with Him, as reflected in our actions, beliefs, and experiences.
