How do we know we are kept by God's grace?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are kept by God's grace through His promise to preserve us in faith and the evidence of His work in our lives.

Scripture assures us that God preserves His elect through His grace. Philippians 1:6 states, 'Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.' This means that our salvation is a work of God that He actively sustains throughout our lives. In addition, we can see the fruit of the Spirit in our lives, which confirms that God is at work in us. Despite our failings, He remains faithful to perfect His will in us, demonstrating His sustaining grace.
