How do we know we are lost?

Answered in 1 source

We are considered lost if we are without Christ, without hope, and without God.

Being lost means being in a state of spiritual ignorance and separation from God. Ephesians 2:12 describes the lost as being without Christ, having no hope, and being without God in the world. A lost person does not know God or Jesus and lacks spiritual wisdom, righteousness, and the ability to seek redemption. This includes the absence of a mediator between themselves and God, leaving them with no means to express their prayers or petitions. The Bible clearly states that the lost are under the wrath of God, which abides on them until they are reconciled through Christ.
