How do we know we are lovely in God's sight?

Answered in 1 source

We are seen as lovely in God's sight through our union with Christ, who makes us righteous.

Our loveliness in the eyes of God is not based on our merits but stems from our union with Christ. As believers, we are in Christ, which means that His righteousness is imputed to us. The idea that we are lovely comes from understanding that God sees us through the lens of His Son. As mentioned in the sermon, in the Song of Solomon, God expresses the beauty of His bride. Despite our feelings of unworthiness, we are made lovely by faith and through the love of Christ, who produces a gladness in God as He looks upon us.
