How do we know we are redeemed?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are redeemed through our faith in Christ, who was judged in our place and declared righteousness.

Redemption is assured to believers because it rests not on our works but on Christ's completed work on the cross. In the sermon, it emphasizes how David's request for redemption in Psalm 26 acknowledges that even the most upright need mercy. The Lord Jesus, who lived a life of perfect integrity, was examined and found worthy, fulfilling the requirements for our redemption. When we trust in Him, we are declared righteous, and our need for mercy is met in Christ's finished work.
