How do we know we are satisfied with God's goodness?

Answered in 1 source

You know you are satisfied with God's goodness when your hope, joy, and expectations rest entirely upon Christ's work.

True satisfaction with God's goodness is reflected in how closely we live upon the person and work of Christ. A believer who is truly satisfied acknowledges that all hope, joy, and expectations are drawn from Jesus. The struggle comes when we find our hearts preoccupied with self-improvement and our actions rather than solely focusing on Christ as the source of our satisfaction. This understanding encourages believers to maintain their gaze fixed on Jesus to prevent self-satisfaction from overshadowing the true source of their comfort and joy—God's goodness as revealed in Christ.
