How do we know we are secure in our faith?

Answered in 1 source

Believers find security in their faith through God's perpetual guidance and the assurance of Christ's atonement (Psalm 139:7-10).

The security of a believer's faith is articulated beautifully in Psalm 139, particularly where David contemplates that there is no place he can flee from God's presence (verses 7-10). He articulates a deep assurance that even in the darkest moments, God's hand will lead and support him. This reflects the reality that our standing in Christ is secure, not based on our own efforts but on Christ's finished work. As stated in the sermon, we are held by God's grace; He does not leave us to our own devices, and our assurance is rooted in the understanding that nothing can separate us from His love.
