How do we know we are soldiers of the Lord?

Answered in 1 source

We are known as soldiers of the Lord through our faith in Jesus Christ and our commitment to fight for His truth.

The soldiers of the Lord are identified not by mere outward appearances but by a genuine transformation that Christ brings. According to the sermon, true soldiers of Christ have forsaken their old ways, repented of their sins, and accepted the imputed righteousness of Christ. This conversion is marked by a commitment to live according to God's will and a willingness to fight against the temptations of sin and the influence of the world. A soldier of Christ loves the entire army of believers and recognizes that their life, time, and talents belong entirely to their Captain, King Jesus. Thus, selflessness and dedication characterize those who are enlisted in this heavenly army.
