How do we know we are spiritually minded?

Answered in 1 source

Being spiritually minded means having a concern for the things of God rather than the things of the world.

Romans 8:5-8 contrasts those who are spiritually minded with those who are carnally minded. The spiritually minded are concerned with God's truths and the gospel, demonstrating evidence of the new birth. In contrast, those who mind the things of the flesh are marked by death, showing that they are enemies of God. This spiritual mindset reflects a transformed nature granted by the Holy Spirit, as believers find their joy in Christ and His teachings, rather than the fleeting pleasures of this world.
