We can know we are truly children of God by the presence of His Spirit and our love for others.

According to 1 John 3:24, the assurance of being God's children is linked to keeping His commandments and experiencing His abiding presence. The Holy Spirit works in believers, confirming their identity as sons of God. The evidence of this relationship is further seen in our love for one another. As we exhibit God's love and adhere to His commandments, we reflect the reality of our spiritual adoption and the new birth we have received through Christ.
