How do we know we are truly saved in the race of faith?

Answered in 1 source

Believers demonstrate their salvation through their perseverance and the transformation of their lives, evidenced by a continual struggle against sin (Romans 8:30).

The assurance of salvation in a believer's life is manifested through spiritual perseverance, which includes running the race set before us with faith in Christ. According to Romans 8:30, those whom God predestines, He also calls and justifies, ensuring their ultimate glorification. A genuine believer experiences an internal struggle against sin as they seek to walk faithfully in their new life. This struggle signifies that the Holy Spirit is at work within them, guiding and convicting them toward Christlikeness. The fight against sin and the dedication to run the race visibly indicate that one is indeed a part of God's elect, reaffirming their calling and stronghold in faith.
