How do we know we have a ministry from God?

According to 2 Corinthians 5:18-20, every believer has received the ministry of reconciliation. This entails proclaiming how God reconciles sinners to Himself through Jesus Christ. The ministry involves us not creating our own message but faithfully delivering the message God has entrusted to us.
