How do we know we have entered into God's rest?

Answered in 1 source

We know we have entered into God's rest when we have faith in Christ and experience the peace that comes from that belief.

The assurance of having entered into God's rest is tied closely to one's faith in Christ. According to Hebrews 4:3, those who believe have already entered into this rest. This is evidenced not by our perfection or absence of struggle, but by our dependence on Christ for redemption and righteousness. Believers experience a confidence in their salvation and an alleviation of guilt and fear, knowing that Christ has satisfied the requirements of the law on their behalf. This ongoing relationship with Christ, marked by daily reliance on His grace, is a clear indicator that one has entered into God's rest.
