How do we know we have faith?

Answered in 1 source

We know we have faith through the work of God's Spirit in our hearts and our response to His promises.

According to 2 Peter 1:1, believers have obtained like precious faith through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ. This faith is a gift from God and is inseparable from His grace and our new life in Christ. We can recognize the evidence of faith through our trust in God's promises, our love for others, and a desire to grow in knowledge and holiness. A believer’s faith manifests in a life that reflects obedience and love for God, demonstrating that it is the Spirit's work in us that confirms our relationship with Him.
