How do we know we have perfect righteousness in Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Perfect righteousness is obtained through faith in Christ, not by our own actions or adherence to the law.

Paul emphasizes in Philippians 3:9 that perfect righteousness is not self-derived but comes through faith in Christ. We cannot achieve the required holiness to stand before a holy God through our works; rather, we receive Christ's righteousness by faith, which satisfies divine justice. This perfect righteousness is essential for salvation and can only be attained by those who are united to Christ by faith, as found in Romans 8:3-4.
