How do we know we have truly received Christ?

Answered in 1 source

We know we have received Christ when we believe in Him as He is revealed in Scripture.

True reception of Christ involves acknowledging who He is according to the Scriptures. If a person claims to have received Christ, it must reflect an understanding of His divine attributes and His role as Savior for the elect. This includes recognizing His wisdom, atonement, and the specific purpose of His coming to save His people. The basis of true faith lies not in a mere decision but in the understanding and conviction that God has acted through Christ to save those chosen before the foundation of the world.
