How do we know we possess the new man?

The evidence of possessing the new man can be found in our belief in God and His Word, as well as in our actions. In John 3, Jesus indicates that a person must be born again to see the kingdom of God, which signifies the necessity of a new man. Furthermore, 1 John 3:9 states that no one born of God makes a practice of sinning, suggesting that the new man cannot commit the sin of unbelief. This transformation leads to a life that increasingly reflects righteousness and true holiness. Therefore, if our lives exhibit faith in Christ and a pursuit of holiness, it serves as evidence that we possess the new man.
