How do we know we're called to be saints?

Answered in 1 source

We know we are called to be saints through God's will and the grace bestowed upon us in Christ Jesus.

Our calling to be saints is not based on our achievements but on God’s sovereign grace. As Paul states in 1 Corinthians 1:2, believers are sanctified in Christ Jesus and are called to be saints. This calling is part of God's divine plan and is rooted in His will rather than human merit. It's a transformative work of the Holy Spirit that makes sinners holy before God. Through the preaching of the gospel, we are set apart and identified as God's chosen people, confirming our identity as saints who call upon the name of the Lord.
