How do we know we should walk in love like Christ?

Ephesians 5:2 instructs us to 'walk in love, as Christ also loved us and has given himself for us an offering.' The expectation for Christians to walk in love is rooted in the commandment to reflect Christ’s own sacrificial love for humanity. This love is not merely an emotion but is demonstrated through our actions and attitudes toward others. Christ embodied perfect love and sacrificed Himself for our benefit, setting the ultimate example for us to follow. By striving to love one another, we reflect His character and fulfill a key aspect of our faith, demonstrating to the world that we are His disciples.
