We know which preachers to receive by the gospel they preach and their love for the brethren.

Determining which preachers to receive is based on two primary criteria: the message they proclaim and their love for God's people. A true preacher of the gospel will center his message on Christ and Him crucified, just as Christ preached the message given to Him by the Father. Furthermore, their love for the brethren should be evident, as the ministers of Christ do not defraud or harm anyone but seek the good of others. This standard helps protect the believers from false teaching and ensures that they receive those who genuinely represent Christ and His message.
