How do we know who God's elect are?

Answered in 1 source

God's elect are those whom He has chosen before the foundation of the world and are drawn to Him by His grace (Ephesians 1:4-5).

The doctrine of election teaches that God, in His sovereignty, has chosen certain individuals for salvation before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4-5 states, 'According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.' The evidence of being among the elect is a genuine faith in Christ and a desire for Him, as shown by the fruit of the Spirit and a continued pursuit of holiness.
