How do we know who is worthy to take the Lord's Supper?

Answered in 1 source

Anyone who trusts in Christ and recognizes His sacrifice is deemed worthy to partake in the Lord's Supper.

Paul instructs in 1 Corinthians 11:27-29 that worthiness for taking the Lord's Supper is not determined by personal merit or perfection but by one's relationship with Christ. He clarifies that it is discerning the Lord's body that determines who is worthy. Every true believer who trusts in Jesus and acknowledges Him as their righteousness and Savior is qualified to partake. Thus, instead of examining one’s sinfulness to determine worthiness, believers should reflect on Christ's sacrifice and their faith in Him, which grants them the privilege to participate in this ordinance.
