How do we maintain joy in difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

We maintain joy in difficult times by focusing on God's promises and seeking Him continually.

Maintaining joy during difficult seasons requires a conscious effort to stay connected to God through His Word and prayer. Philippians 4:4 encourages us to 'rejoice in the Lord always,' reminding us that our joy is found in Him, not our circumstances. Furthermore, by seeking the Lord diligently and meditating on His marvelous works, we can cultivate a perspective that allows joy to flourish, as seen in Psalm 119:67, where affliction leads to a deeper understanding of God's ways. A heart anchored in Christ and His promises produces enduring joy that cannot be shaken by the storms of life.
