How do we plead our case before God?

Answered in 1 source

We plead our case before God by using His own words and promises in prayer.

Just like the Syrophoenician woman in Matthew 15, we can present our case before God by recalling His promises and words. Faith takes God’s own declarations and argues our situation back to Him, acknowledging our need for grace. This is illustrated in Daniel 9:17-19, where the supplicant calls upon God's mercy, not based on their own righteousness but on God's great mercies. Such pleading honors God and demonstrates a trust in His faithfulness, as we rely on His promises rather than our worthiness.
