How do we please God according to the Bible?

Answered in 1 source

We please God by walking in obedience to His commandments and living a life of faith.

The apostle Paul, in 1 Thessalonians 4:1, urges the believers to walk in a manner that pleases God, emphasizing that their actions must align with the commandments given to them. Pleasing God involves an active pursuit of holiness and a commitment to live according to His will. This is not based on human effort alone but is empowered by the Holy Spirit working within the believer. As they walk by faith, they reflect their relationship with God and demonstrate their commitment to His ways. Therefore, pleasing God is both a personal and communal pursuit, where believers are called to support one another in their journey of faith.
