How do we practice thinking about what is true and pure?

Answered in 1 source

To practice thinking about what is true and pure, Christians are called to focus on God's Word and the character of Christ, allowing these truths to shape their thoughts and actions (Philippians 4:8).

Philippians 4:8 encourages believers to think about whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent, and worthy of praise. Practicing this requires intentional discipline in our daily lives, filtering our thoughts through the lens of Scripture. Engaging in prayer and meditation on God’s Word helps cultivate a mindset that not only recognizes but actively seeks after that which aligns with God's character. By immersing ourselves in biblical truth, we can reject the falsehoods and impure influences of the world, allowing the peace of God to inform our thoughts and actions, and to live out our faith in a way that is pleasing to Him.
