How do we pursue a relationship with Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Pursuing a relationship with Christ involves seeking Him passionately and recognizing our need for His grace.

In Philippians 3:10-14, Paul exemplifies the believer’s pursuit of a deep relationship with Christ through the ambitions that drive his life. This pursuit includes a desire to know Christ intimately, to experience the power of His resurrection, and to participate in His sufferings. Believers are called to chase after a relationship with Christ with the same urgency and passion they would pursue anything of great value. Recognizing that this relationship is rooted in grace shifts the focus from self-effort to complete reliance on Christ’s redemptive work. It is through this pursuit that believers are transformed, ultimately becoming more like Christ and bringing Him glory.
